SchoolMessenger Notification Service

The Brea Olinda Unified School District currently uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System to send important announcements to parents and staff members on matters such as attendance, general interest activities and campus and district emergencies.  SchoolMessenger offers you the ability to determine how you would like to receive the different types of messages.  If you would like to receive messages in a different manner (different phone number, additional phone number, email, text, etc.) please call Shannon Ames (714) 990-7533 at the District Office to make those changes.  Click here for more information.

2016-17 LCAP

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The Brea Olinda Unified School District firmly believes in the importance of seeking stakeholder input prior to writing the plan. The Board of Education approved our LCAP on June 27, 2016.

Laurel Magnet School of Innovation and Career Exploration

Have you heard?? Laurel Elementary will receive a summer transformation! In fall of 2016 Laurel will open its doors as the Laurel Magnet School of Innovation and Career Exploration! Enrollment is open and BOUSD is currently accepting applications for intra- and inter- district transfers. For additional information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Laurel Magnet School Presentation

Preschool Registration 2016

FULL DAY AND PART DAY PRESCHOOL - BOUSD's Early Learning program was created to provide an enriched environment for early-aged children, which benefits their intellectual, physical, emotional and social development.  Classes are designed for children who are potty-trained and turn 3 years of age by September 1, 2016.  Fee based and state preschool programs (income qualifying program) are available throughout the District at Arovista, Country Hills, Laurel, Mariposa, and Olinda. Full time and Part time options are available.   Registration for fall begins on Thursday, March 3, 3016 at the Child Care Services administrative office. This is an income qualifying program.  To be eligible for enrollment in a CSPP Center, the parent(s) must meet one of the following criteria:

a.  Employed

b.  Seeking employment

c.  Enrolled in training, college, or school

d.  Incapacitated

My School Bucks

The Brea Olinda Unified School District is excited to announce MySchoolBucks, which will replace the current eFunds payment system!

What is MySchoolBucks?  MySchoolBucks is an online payment service that provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases, check meal balances and receive email notifications for low account balances.
