Five applicants are vying to fill the open seat on the Brea Olinda School District Board of Education.
The candidates will be interviewed by The Board on Wednesday, December 14 beginning at 4 p.m. at the District Office (1 Civic Center Circle, Level II, Brea 92821).
The board will deliberate and appoint its new member, by majority vote, following the interviews; the chosen candidate will be sworn into office at the January 9, 2017 Board of Education meeting.
Candidates were chosen randomly for time slots and the interview schedule is as follows:
4 p.m. Rod Todd
4:30 p.m. Holli Kittleson
5 p.m. Joseph Covey
5:30 p.m. Jonathan Golub
6 p.m. Jason Kraft
The candidate chosen by the board will step into the seat vacated by former board member Joseph Rollino, who resigned from his position effective November 7, 2016.
The appointed candidate will serve the remainder of Rollino’s term, which runs through November 2018.
